Pakistan's cotton prices hold steady export volume

On the 30th, Pakistan’s cotton prices stabilized, and the purchase of textile companies was positive. Exporters were still waiting to see the increase in domestic demand before the Haram Festival and the weakening of the Rupee exchange rate supported the formation of cotton prices. The Sindh Xinhua Gin and Roll Factory pick-up price is Rs 6,500-6,600/maund (77.75-78.95 cents/lb), and Punjab Province is Rs 6,550-6,600/maund.

According to the Pakistan Trade Development Council, from August 1 last year to July 23 this year, Pakistan’s domestic cotton exports registered 606,600 bales (103,100 tons), including 17,507 bales (2,976 tons) of 2011/12 cotton, and a cumulative shipment of 462,500. Package (78617 tons).
