Observation: Taiwan's textile industry exports to India rose annually

Taiwan's textile industry has great advantages in the Indian market:

1) Taiwanese fabrics are welcomed by Indian garment factories. After importing into India, they are converted into ready-made garments for export.

2) India has gradually attached importance to the functional textile market, and the related fabric products I produce have taken a global leading position;

3) The tires manufactured in Taiwan have a place in the Indian market. With the development of the automobile industry, there will be more demand for in-vehicle textile products, and the space for Taiwanese businesses to grow will also increase.

4) Sanitary materials Textile companies can focus on the first opportunity, starting from specific areas where the average national income is higher, such as New Delhi and Mumbai.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Finance, in 2010, Taiwan’s textile exports amounted to US$11.102 billion, an increase of more than 20% from the same period of 2009; the import amount was US$2.902 billion, which was an increase of 32% from 2009. The amount of textile exports from Taiwan to India in 2010 was 188 million U.S. dollars, accounting for 1.66% of my total exports. The same period of imports amounted to 128 million U.S. dollars, accounting for 4.41% of my total imports.
